NRT Trainee Alex Johnson was named the 2015 TranLIVE Student of the Year. Alex’s research focuses the fate and transport of pollutants in urban environments. He is also interested in the role of green roofs and other green infrastructure in affecting air and stormwater quality.
TranLIVE, which stands for Transportation Livability by Integrating Vehicles and the Environment, is a federally funded University transportation research center that consists of a consortium of five University members including SU, University of Idaho, Virginia Tech, Old Dominion, and University of Southern Texas.
