NRT Trainee Laura DeMott is the speaker at WAGGS this upcoming Friday (Feb. 12).  Laura is a doctoral student in the Earth Sciences department and has done extensive outreach work. She will be discussing her experiences in her talk, which is titled The GeoFORCE Awakens: Enticing the next generation of geoscientists to the STEM side.

WAGGS, the Waggoner Geology Graduate Seminar, provides opportunities for graduate students to share their research with their colleagues in an informal, low-stress environment. WAGGS starts at 3:30 in 210 Heroy Geology Lab. Refreshments are served and all are welcome.
